On December 31, The Island in Pigeon Forge is throwing a New Year’s Eve celebration. This is a family event, so people of all ages are welcome! You don’t have to pay anything to attend this event, nor do you have to pay for parking. Free parking is available at 2989 Teaster Lane, a park lot known as Mountain Lot with 2,148 spaces.
The Island has partnered with WIVK radio station to broadcast the event. Just tune in on 107.7 FM to listen to a simulcast of the fireworks show.
This year’s event is headlined by Stephen Goff and The Royals who will put on an incredible concert for all visitors. At the strike of midnight, you will enjoy an incredible fireworks display to ring in the new year. Kids and adults will be amazed by the beautiful fireworks show.

Before the fireworks show at midnight, you should get to The Island in Pigeon Forge early! There are over 40 retail stores you can browse through, from boutiques to a real 5 and dime store. Your kids will love looking at toys, games, and puzzles. There’s a store that’s perfect for everyone in your family to look through. You’ll find snack places and restaurants with a ton of food you’ll want to try. You can get hot dogs from the Yew Haw Snack Shack or ice cream from The Island Creamery. If you get there in time, you can have dinner at Margaritaville or the Mellow Mushroom. Your kids will want to ride The Great Smoky Mountain Wheel and play in the arcade. There are several other rides and games you’ll want to do before you head over to the parking lot to enjoy New Years Eve!
